Boys Will Be Boys

Several weeks ago, Jared and I decided to have Rhett, Ashton and Braydon over for the weekend. Yes...... crazy I know! The three of them spent the night which was very interesting. I told them they could stay up as long as they wanted, but they couldn't keep us awake. I snuck in their bedroom several times to listen to their stories and laughed so hard I wanted to cry. They definitely have huge imaginations! They were as hyper as could be, so finally around midnight I made them shut their bedroom door so we couldn't hear them. After that, we didn't hear much of a peep. They all three came barging in our bedroom around 7am because they were sooooo hungry:) We were all ready and out of the house by 7:45. As promised, Jared and I took them down to the Rivermarket for breakfast. The weather was great, so after breakfast we enjoyed a walk by the river then a nice time at the playground. The boys begged to play football, so we picked up Jais and headed to the highschool football field. We all enjoyed ourselves, but Jared and I were definitely ready for some peace and quiet:)

It's the small things in life...

It's just the small, simple things in life that make me smile:) I'm like a child when it comes to the carwash. So needless to say, I was pretty happy when I saw they used ty dyed soap.

Labor Day Weekend

It is always nice to have a long weekend! Sunday night after church, a large crowd gathered at my cousin Tisha's house. We had lots of food, a bundle of laughs, and made some great memories:) Still not sure who took all the pictures with my camera, I just know it floated around all night.

I guess he thought we were playing King of the Mountain!!! ;)

I had been doing well with my blogging, then my computer started to act up. I have updated everything, so I am hoping it will run a little faster now. I have several upcoming posts and hope to be able to post on a regular basis now! Stay tuned.........

Haley's Baby Shower

While my family was here for Granny's birthday, we decided to do a spur of the moment baby shower for my cousin Haley and her baby boy. Ethan Matthew Love will be here sometime in December and we can't wait to meet the little guy:) Haley makes a super cute mommy to be. Like I said, it was very spur of the moment, but turned out really cute.

Happy 97th Birthday!!!

My great grandmother turned 97 several weeks back, so we decided to throw her a surprise birthday party. We had family from Texas and Louisiana come in and be with us. Granny was so excited to see three of her children. I love my granny dearly and cherish each year we are given with her. I hope I can grow to be just half the woman she is:)
