Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone enjoys time with the ones they love today. Christmases just aren't the same without my dear grandmother, but I know that she is watching from above and would be so happy to see everyone celebrating this special time together. God has certainly blessed me with two wonderful families that I love so dearly. I hope to post a lot of pictures from the holidays very soon. For now..... Have a very Merry Christmas :)

ARMOI

Arvest is once again the proud sponsor of the Arvest River Market on Ice in Downtown Little Rock. I remember skating here when I was a young girl, but for some reason the rink was shut down and not opened for many years. Arvest sponsored the outdoor rink and brought it back to Little Rock last year. Since it was such a huge success, they sponsored it again this year:) The night before the actual "Opening Night," we had an Arvest River Market on Ice Party. We all had a blast and froze ourselves silly, but most importantly we got to share this special time with our friends and family.

Happy 97th Birthday!!!

My great grandmother turned 97 several weeks back, so we decided to throw her a surprise birthday party. We had family from Texas and Louisiana come in and be with us. Granny was so excited to see three of her children. I love my granny dearly and cherish each year we are given with her. I hope I can grow to be just half the woman she is:)

Demolition Duo Turns SIX!!!

The twins turned six in February. Due to all the snow and ice, they never really had a birthday party. My dad had a whim and decided to give them a party out at his farm in Cabot and invite the ENTIRE K5 class. Yes, ....... feel free to call us crazy and insane. Aside from the overwhelming child/adult ratio, it turned out really well. The boys slept in tents (and FROZE) while the few girls and women slept in campers all nice and TOASTY!! :)) We were awakended the next morning to the boys banging on the camper, screaming, "WE WANT BREAKFAST, WE WANT BREAKFAST." Braydon said this was his most favorite part of the party. Lots of fish were caught, lots of DIRTY clothes taken home, and plent of hot dogs were eaten. Many sleepy kids later, we all went home and had a WONDERFUl nights rest!
